i think i've explored the super end of tuas just now for my interview. with 16 stages/stops from boon lay interchange to the company and another 30 mins of bus ride back to boon lay. i can just sleep in the bus.

throughout the journey, you get to smell something different after each road. the smell of paint, chemicals etc etc. i was hoping the heavy would alter to a light drizzle but it ended up raining super heavily.

the post - junior draftsman. they are setting up a design engineering team. if shortlisted i will be working with another senior draftsman.

its more of an on-site job. wearing overalls, safety boots and safety helmet. going to and fro to the workshops. walking around the shipyard. going up to the vessels. i don't have to cycle around the shipyard because the sea is just beside the company. oh! im feeling like cai zhenya in the peak already. if i can find a qi yuwu there..... (read: fantasy)

im excited. but i know mum doesn't like the idea of me working in the shipyard with foreign people. dad is half-hearted.

so let's just pray that i will be shortlisted for the assistant engineer, prdouction engineer and junior draftsman.

when that day comes, i will have a hard time making a decision that will somehow be a turning point of my life.
