i had 3 passbooks to update and feeling relief because the q was short meaning i can hog at the machine. the first 2 passbooks were updated and the problem was the 3rd one. i inserted the book and waited for the transactions. i realised that somethinghad gone wrong when the POSB logo wasn't turning as it should whenever transactions were made and also it did not prompt me anything about depositing any money after updating.


with the the logo not moving, i went SHIT! don't tell me the passbook is stuck in the machine. LO AND BEHOLD!! after giving it 1 min or so, i decided to go into the bank and asked for help. at the same time, i told this lady to actually stay at the machine just in case my passbook came out from the machine. the best part, the lady went off while i was asking for help. blardy hell! didn't even tell me.


reported and the teller said that they can't do anything with the "swallowed" passbook as they do not have access to the machines. the passbook would be mailed to me after 7 working days. so i went okay and walked off


i wasn't feeling safe that the teller did not take any particulars about my swallowed passbook. with the other 2 passbooks in hand, i decided to check if there are any customer service number. spoke to the lady and filed a report ( and the teller just now said its ok to have your passbook swallowed!).



message my aunt asking the stupidest question ever,

"can anyone actually withdraw money with my passbook?"


it was only when she replied, no because of the thumbprint, i realised that i'm such a selenge panicking over the "swallowed" passboook and did not even think that thumbprint would be needed.


SHEESH! and i went window shopping at jp. haha.
